Our Educational Philosophy

Levics believes learning happens through doing. Every program hour is structured around real-client practice, peer collaboration, and instructor mentorship on the salon floor — not just textbook theory.

All programs are delivered in English and Spanish, ensuring no student is left behind due to language. Our instructors are fully bilingual and adapt their teaching style to meet each student where they are.

From day one, students learn not just how to cut, color, and care — but how to build a clientele, manage a booth rental, and launch their own salon business. Entrepreneurship is woven into the curriculum, not offered as an afterthought.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Maria Flores

Maria Flores brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in the beauty industry, having worked in high-volume salons, independent studios, and community settings across the region. She witnessed firsthand how many talented, driven individuals were turned away or held back by schools that lacked flexibility, bilingual support, or a genuine investment in student outcomes. That gap inspired her to build something different.

Maria's personal mission is rooted in access and equity — making professional beauty education real and achievable for students who were overlooked by traditional schools, especially Spanish-speaking students and career changers from working-class backgrounds. She designed Levics from the ground up to meet those students exactly where they are.
