Enrollment Requirements

We keep our requirements clear and accessible. Here's what you'll need to enroll at Levics Beauty School.

General Requirements (All Programs)

  • Must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental consent in applicable programs)
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Social Security card or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
  • Completed enrollment application and signed enrollment agreement

Program-Specific Prerequisites

  • Cosmetology (1550 hrs): No prior experience required; open enrollment
  • Barbering (1000 hrs): No prior experience required; open enrollment
  • Esthetics (450 hrs): No prior experience required; open enrollment
  • Transfer students: Hours earned at a state-approved school may be evaluated for credit

  • Original photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport)
  • Social Security card or ITIN documentation
  • Proof of high school completion (diploma, transcript, or GED certificate)
  • Any transfer documentation (if applicable)

  • Who is eligible to apply?

  • Can I transfer hours from another school?
    Yes. If you've completed hours at another state-approved cosmetology or barbering school, we will evaluate your transcript and may credit eligible hours toward your program at Levics. Bring your official transfer documents on enrollment day.
  • Do you offer classes in Spanish?
    Sí. Our programs are available with full Spanish-language support. You can complete the admissions process, attend classes, and receive instructor support in Spanish throughout your training.
  • How long does it take to complete each program?
    Program length depends on your schedule. Cosmetology (1,550 hrs) typically takes 12-18 months; Barbering (1,000 hrs) approximately 9-12 months; Esthetics (450 hrs) approximately 4-6 months. Flexible scheduling options are available.
  • What financial aid is available?
